Welcome to Budget Sense. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Budget Sense mobile application or website (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using Budget Sense, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

Manual Data Entry: Budget Sense is a manual-input financial tracking tool. The Service relies entirely on information, figures, numbers, and categories entered directly by you.
No Direct Bank Connections: Budget Sense does not connect to, sync with, or access bank accounts, credit cards, investment accounts, or third-party financial institutions.

2. Financial Disclaimer (Not Financial Advice)

Informational Use Only: Budget Sense is designed solely for personal organization and tracking. The Service does not constitute financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any numbers, calculations, or budgets you input. Any financial decisions made based on data stored or calculated within Budget Sense are made entirely at your own risk.

3. User Accounts & Password Security

Account Registration: To access the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and a secure password. You agree to provide accurate registration details.
Credential Safeguards: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password) and for restricting access to your device. Budget Sense is not liable for any unauthorized access or loss resulting from your failure to safeguard your login details.
Accuracy & Data Retention: Because Budget Sense relies on manual input, all charts, summaries, and calculations are only as accurate as the entries you provide. While we implement standard data safeguards, you are responsible for keeping your own records.

4. Intellectual Property

Ownership: All rights, title, and interest in and to Budget Sense (including software code, logo designs, user interfaces, branding, and graphics) are and will remain the exclusive property of Budget Sense and its creators.
Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or decompile any part of the Service without prior written authorization.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, national, or international laws.
Attempt to breach the security of the application, compromise user accounts, or tamper with system integrity.
Rent, lease, or sublicense access to the Service to third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

"As-Is" Provision: Budget Sense is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
No Indirect Damages: Budget Sense and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages - including loss of data, app downtime, or personal financial decisions - resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account within the app settings or removing the application.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any legal action, dispute, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Budget Sense shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts located in Sofia, Bulgaria.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
